The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall for around 220,000 units of Psyclone Essentials and React Wii™ 4-Dock Battery Recharge Stations because the battery pack can overheat and can cause fire hazards to the consumers. Below is a picture of the device with four recharging stations and a rechargeable battery pack.
How to find if you are using a faulty unit? Well, just turn over the unit and if you see model numbers PSE6501 (Psyclone) or RT530 (React) then it confirms that unit should be sent back.
What to do after you find that your device is faulty one. You should immediately stop using these recharge stations and contact Griffin International to obtain information on how to return the product and receive a free replacement.
